Over the years Windcat has been working in the offshore industry, we have worked on a variety of projects.
In the offshore wind industry we have assisted companies on all the different parts of construction projects, ranging from cable laying, foundation installation and turbine installation, to bottom surveys and ornithological studies.
In the operations and maintenance phase of wind farms, we supply services for turbine maintenance, Balance of Plant maintenance, blade repairs and substation maintenance. Besides the personnel transfers, we also transport equipment offshore including special cargoes such as generators, scaffolding and Skyclimbers. The vessels can also be used for survey works using ROV’s, side scan sonar and other equipment.
We also have experience on oil and gas projects transferring personnel to offshore platforms and acting as close standby vessel.
