Job Description

Reporting to the Tender Manager, you will support the assessment and completion of tenders and bids to a high quality, assess feasibility of opportunities and generate quotations. You will be the secondary point of contact for tendering, bid and chartering purposes.

Key Duties
  • Support the managing, tracking and meeting of all deadlines for tenders and bids.
  • Collect company information for the showcasing documents utilised for tendering.
  • Complete vendor and customer registrations.
  • Manage and updating client portals with the support from the commercial team.
  • Undertake research on enquiries as received under direction of the Tender Manager
  • Support the process flow of enquiry to contract.
  • Support the handover process following contract award.
  • Assist with organising marketing materials and stalls for exhibitions.
  • Assist with internal communications for inclusion in company magazine and internal updates.
  • Take part in tender clarification meetings with clients, review and log feedback.
  • From time to time, attend client face-to-face meetings.
  • Request client feedback periodically, as directed by the Tender Manager.
  • Maintain and organise the shared commercial drive as directed by the Tender Manager.
Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of organisational skill and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • The ability to work both as a proactive team member and on your own initiative when required
  • Good working knowledge of English and able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Motivated and eager to learn and develop within the commercial team

Desirable

  • Experience in a similar marine related role
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
