Our Windcat 48 got shortlisted for the Offshore Energy Vessel of the Year Award 2023 for it’s innovative design and efficient operation. It is the world’s first hydrogen-powered crew transfer vessel. The Hydrocat 48 takes the Windcat Mk 3.5 design and enhances it with hydrogen dual-fuel engines. CMB.TECH has taken a MAN dual-fuel engine (the MAN D2862 LE428) and retrofitted it with a hydrogen injection system.
Our recently launched hydrogen CSOV’s got nominated for the Offshore Renewables Award 2023. The Elevation series commissioning service operation vessels (CSOVs) are co-designed by Damen Shipyards, CMB.TECH and Windcat Offshore. It’s a revolutionary new design with increased capabilities and flexibility.
